The room, decorated with tulips and budding branches, exuded a touch of spring at the Kuspo Course and Sports Center. In this welcoming atmosphere, many women from all generations gathered in Lenk, seeking connection, inspiration, and a brief respite from everyday life.
Emotions as a Creative Power
Kerstin Kopp from the Simmental Newspaper was also among the guests. In her beautifully written article, she captured the essence of my talk, “The Creative Power of Emotions,” in a wonderful way (see below). It was a joy to take the participants on a journey through the world of our inner strengths—because emotions are not only companions in life but also drivers of change, creativity, and healing.
Touching Feedback and a Helpful Tool
I was especially moved by the many personal responses. “I found your talk very inspiring and authentic! Thank you so much!” one woman wrote in an email. She highlighted the Emotion Wheel as a particularly helpful tool—it shows the diverse insights emotions can give us when we approach them with curiosity and the question: What’s behind it? (see image).
A Resonance That Moves
The morning lingered with some of the listeners. One participant thanked me with the words: “It was very interesting and engaging. I could also take a lot away for my work at the day school.”
Another visitor expressed the idea of pausing, naming emotions, and opening to the loving presence of God in a touching visual language (see below).
Shared Blooming
The day was filled with open conversations, heartfelt exchanges, and a tangible sense of community. Events like these show how much potential lies in authentic connections—especially when we allow ourselves to feel, pause, and be touched.
I am deeply grateful to each and every woman who attended—for their presence, interest, and trust. These connections enrich our lives.
